About Step-By-Step
Mission
We will not stop until every referred child is able to access the full depth and breadth of services they deserve – not just to function, but to thrive.

A Unique Provider
Step-by-Step Therapeutic Center is a unique mixed population therapy provider designed to serve children with diagnosed disabilities. We have been located in South East Washington, DC for seven (7) years and have expanded into Prince George’s County and the neighboring Metropolitan Area. The location of the Prince George’s center is Hyattsville, MD. This location was chosen to meet the ballooning needs of a growing community, with a substantial shortage of providers of pediatric therapy especially for the autistic population.
Step-by-Step Therapeutic Center has established itself as a provider of services for children diagnosed with developmental delays and physical disabilities. We use age and level appropriate childhood goals, while incorporating the necessary therapies to facilitate their readiness into becoming most independent in their community.

Pediatric Sports Rehabilitation
Along with treating developmental disabilities Step-by-Step is the only pediatric clinic in Prince George’s County that also has a state of the art training facility to address sports related injuries.
Interactive Metronome Therapy
We are the only Pediatric Clinic on this side of Prince George’s County that offers Interactive Metronome Therapy: Interactive Metronome® (IM) is an evidence-based training and assessment tool proven to improve cognition, attention, focus, memory, speech/language, executive functioning, comprehension as well as motor & sensory skills in various disabilities and injuries such as: Autism, ADHD/ADD, Learning Disabilities, Speech/Language Issues, Athletic Enhancement, Attention/Focus, and much more.

Therapy for Your Family's Lifestyle
Therapists respect parents as the most important component of their child’s development. Therefore, family members and other caregivers are encouraged to join in, to play alongside, to fully participate.
